Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World® Resort is the perfect place for families and couples to cool off! Exclusively for resort guests, the Resort offers an entire 5-acre water park, “Explorer Island,” named for its incredible pools that kids (and kids-at-heart) will love to discover.
The five pool areas at Four Seasons Resort Orlando include:
The Explorer Pool: Located in the heart of Explorer Island is the Explorer Pool, offering 7,590 square-feet (705 square-metres) of splashing fun for families. With a gradually sloping zero-entry and mini-water slide, this pool is great for beginning swimmers. Don’t miss a dive-in movie every Thursday and Saturday night on the 190-inch ‘Starstruck’ movie screen, complete with complimentary popcorn for a viewing experience unlike any other! Private cabanas surrounding the Explorer Pool are also available for a fee.
The Oasis: For the ultimate luxury poolside experience, The Oasis is a perfect adults-only retreat to enjoy cool cocktails and the peaceful tranquility of the sparkling lake. This pristine infinity pool is 92 feet long (28 metres), and in addition to poolside amenities such as frozen fruit and sunglass cleaning from the poolside staff, guests can also take advantage of enjoying a private cabana for an extra cost.
Drifters: Not your average Lazy River, Drifters is unlike any in Central Florida, with 11,008 square-feet (1,203 square metres) of winding fun. With water features such as a cascading waterfall, an exciting rapids section and strategically placed water cannons for a surprise spray along the way, Drifters offers incredible entertainment for the entire family.
The Drop: The Resort’s two water slides are located at The Mansion on Explorer Island, offering a 242-feet (74-metre) thrilling drop with a big splash at the end. One slide is enclosed and made of see-through fiberglass, while the other slide is open so guests can watch the fun inside and out.
The Splash Zone: The perfect spot for kids to cool off and have a blast is at The Splash Zone, the Resort’s interactive fountain that launches blasts of water 30 feet (9 metres) into the air. With fog nozzles, waterfalls and dancing water spouts choreographed to music, the Splash Zone is especially fun for little ones.More posts from July 2017
